Maybe you've seen them on stage as the back up band for Richard Marx, Dolly Parton, Olivia Newton John, Faith Hill, Alabama's Randy Owen and many others. Maybe you've seen them on TV with their band Sixwire as they performed on Fox's "The Next Great American Band" or as the house band on CMT's new show "Can You Duet" or as the house band on "Nashville Star" playing with artists like Sara Evans, Brett Michaels and Jewel. Maybe you've heard songs they've written, recorded by artists like Tim McGraw, Chris Cagle, Craig Morgan, Phil Vassar and many others.

Maybe you have or maybe you haven't, but Nashville’s “Small Time Rock Stars” is a three piece band like you’ve never seen before.

The “Small Time Rock Stars” consist of music veterans Steve Mandile (Guitar, vocals), John Howard (Bass, Vocals) and Chuck Tilley (Drums, vocals), and have been performing together for about 20 years.  They’ve been playing and perfecting their massive and ever growing song list for over 10 years.

With the help of brilliant sequenced tracks on selected songs, you won't believe that there are only three guys on stage. The “Rock Stars” play all the rock songs you love from the ‘60’s to the present with a proud emphasis on the ‘80s. 

“We try to push ourselves to do the songs that most bands wouldn’t dare attempt” says front man, Steve Mandile.  “I think that’s something that sets us apart from a lot of other acts.  There’s something about kicking off that certain song that people don’t get to hear very often and hearing the crowd react.  It’s our favorite thing…”

Imagine a three piece guitar band that plays eighties hits from bands like Tears For Fears, Rick Springfield, REO Speedwagon and Simple Minds with all the keyboard parts.  Santana, Earth Wind And Fire and Kool And The Gang... all with a complete horn section.  Fully orchestrated songs from ELO, Train and Elton John.  Or straight ahead rock songs from Barenaked Ladies, Dave Matthews, Steely Dan and the Beatles. It’s like listening to your favorite radio station.  With over 6 hours of material, the “Small Time Rock Stars” have got it covered and are the perfect rock cover band for your next event.
